Used for centuries for soothing upper respiratory infections, common cold, and influenza, as well as many other maladies.
Strong antioxidant with significant anti-inflammatory effects.
Best known at this time for its antiviral properties, making it very effective in preventing or reducing the effects of influenza and cold viruses.
However, it “does” so much more, including building blood, making it effective in treating anemia. It is great for eye health (I use it regularly in my kombucha 2nd ferments for this reason).
It has also proven its benefit in aiding asthma sufferers.
Elderberry is one of my top 10 herbs - many benefits, very reliable, very easy to use!

Please add your own experiences so that together we can create a more comprehensive overview.
