Wild mustard is considered an invasive plant in our area and everyone is encouraged to pull if to keep it from taking over native plantings. So, pull wild mustard freely and keep in mind you can take it home and have it for dinner! Being in the same family as cabbage, kale, and broccoli, it can be used in similar ways and has a similar taste.
We have many wild mustard varieties in our area with most being spicy and hot in flavor. The leaves, flowers, and seeds are all used. Give them a taste and see which you prefer and use them liberally!
