I've been busy planting and weeding at the new You Pick Medicinal Herbs Garden just north of Northfield. Thus, no new blog posts for a couple weeks. However, I had to take a moment to share a photo of our first flower that bloomed in the garden earlier this week, Arnica chamissonis. Since then, the feverfew has also come into bloom. And the white yarrow and St. John's Wort are soon to follow. It's great to see things coming along.
Yes, there aren't many arnica flowers this year - but there will be more next year and many more by year 3. If you are in need of arnica flowers for making a medicinal oil or tincture, let me know as I have a good supply available in my yard.
