Happy Sunday everyone! It is such a beautiful day - I hope you all get a chance to get outside, soak in some sunshine, read a good book, take a walk, or go watch grandsons play baseball (that's where I'm headed shortly).
I took a video of the You Pick Medicinal Herbs Garden this past week as a reference for myself. But it turned out relatively well, so I thought I would share those with you. If you haven't had a chance to visit the garden this year, this will give you an overview of what is there. And for those of you who have stopped by, you can see how they're growing. I was interrupted part way through, thus two parts. Enjoy.
There was some patchy frost last week, but most plants came through pretty good. The Krishna variety of Holy Basil/Tulsi was the only one to succumb completely, so that is no longer available for this year.
Roots update - several of you have been asking about when roots will be available. I prefer waiting until after a freeze so the plants' energy gets funneled to the roots. This is typcially around mid-October. I'll be sure to update you here. Lots of roots available this year, including Baikal Skullcap.
