Learning (and Eating) Opportunities

Quick post here for three opportunities that I wouldn't want to miss if I was you!

Open Hands Farm has 10 more openings for their 2021 CSA season. I cannot give enough high praise for the quality of their produce, the quantity and variety of veggies that you pick out each week, or the kindness and ethics of Erin, Ben, and their employees. If you are thinking about joining a CSA this summer, sign up now. Bonus - this is the farm where the You Pick Medicinal Herbs Garden is located, so you can also gather medicinal herbs when you pick out your share each week. Check out more information about the CSA on their website.

Matthew Wood and Lise Wolff are co-leading a live, online class Wednesday, March 3, 7:00-9:00 p.m. through the Matthew Wood Institute of Herbalism. The class is part one of "Building Your Own Home Apothecary" and is part of their "Herbs A-Z collection of classes available for $8/month. I think it's the best herbal deal out there right now. Click here for more information about this class and other details about "Herbs A-Z". (They are also continuing their ½ off deal on certain classes through March- also a very good opportunity).

Lise with a class at garden

Lise Wolff has information about her soon-to-start, 2021-2022 Three Seasons of Herbal Wisdom, up on her website (scroll down a bit on her classes page to find the information). Once again, I can't say enough about how valuable this class was to me. I told her I almost wish I had waited for this year as the class size will be limited to 10 people and spanning 2 years. If you have considered taking advantage of her knowledge and great teaching style, now is the time to do that! Rumor has it, several of the classes may take place at the You Pick Medicinal Herbs Garden site. How handy. Just sayin'
